Clinical Trial & Physician Discovery Platform

Search Clinical Trials. Find the Right Specialist. In One Place.

ClinTrial Navigator lets patients, families, and research coordinators search ClinicalTrials.gov by condition, review study site locations on a map, and instantly find specialty-matched physicians nearby, with lead capture built in for coordinator follow-up.

What it is, in one paragraph

ClinTrial Navigator is a web application for the public. Search ClinicalTrials.gov by condition, review a trial's sites on a map, then find specialist physicians near a chosen site — automatically matched by specialty and ranked by distance. It does not enroll anyone in a trial; it is a search, review, and provider-discovery layer that hands qualified interest to research coordinators.

What it does

One workflow, three connected discovery layers

Search trials by condition, review sites on a map, and get matched to nearby specialists, all in one connected flow.

Search

Condition-first trial search

Search by disease or condition, then narrow by city, state, phase, or recruitment status. Quick condition chips cover common searches out of the box.

Detail

Full trial & site review

Open one trial to see sponsor, description, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and every returned site plotted on a map and listed in full.

Match

Specialty-matched physicians

Select a trial site to surface nearby specialists, automatically matched to the trial's condition and ranked by distance.

Resilience

Auto-relaxing search

Fewer than five physicians found? The search broadens to parent specialties, then domain fallbacks, then Internal Medicine, so results rarely come up empty.

Insight

AI-enriched physician profiles

Publication counts, research focus areas, and a condensed summary generated from verified publication data, where available.

Pipeline

Lead capture, CRM-ready

Users express interest in a trial or physician; leads are stored, enriched with a verified email when possible, and optionally pushed to Salesforce.

How it works

The end-to-end flow, screen by screen

This is the literal sequence a user follows — not a simplified summary of it.

01

Enter a condition, add filters if needed

A condition or disease name is required. City, state, phase, and recruitment status are optional filters that narrow results instantly.

02

Review the matching studies

Results return as cards with NCT ID, title, phase, status, and site count. Additional pages load incrementally without losing the current list.

03

Open one trial for full site detail

The detail panel shows sponsor, description, eligibility criteria, and every site on a status-colored map, down to locations without map coordinates.

Recruiting Active, not recruiting Complete
04

Select a site, find physicians nearby

Selecting a site enables physician search. The trial's condition is mapped to medical specialties automatically, and the search radius (5–100 miles) is adjustable.

05

Review specialists & AI insights

Up to 10 physicians return with NPI, name, address, and distance, plus up to 5 suggested related specialties. Selecting one can surface AI-enriched research insights.

06

Capture interest for follow-up

A short form (name, email, phone, optional NPI and message) stores the lead and, where configured, pushes it to Salesforce for a research coordinator to follow up.

Frequently asked

Straight answers, no fine print

A web application for discovering public clinical trials by condition, reviewing trial site locations on a map, and finding specialist physicians near those sites. It does not enroll participants in a study — it's a search, review, and provider-discovery tool.

ClinicalTrials.gov for study data, the NPPES registry for physicians, MapQuest and Geoapify for geocoding and mapping, OpenAlex for publication metrics, Groq for AI-generated summaries, and Apollo.io for physician email enrichment ahead of an optional Salesforce push.

A trial's condition maps to one or more specialties, then the NPPES registry is searched within a 5–100 mile radius. Fewer than five matches triggers automatic broadening — parent specialty, then domain fallback, then Internal Medicine as a last resort.

No. Enrollment is explicitly out of scope. Users express interest through the lead capture form, and a research coordinator follows up directly.

Optionally. Every lead is stored first regardless of CRM status. When Salesforce integration is configured, the lead is pushed via Web-to-Lead, enriched with a verified email through Apollo.io when a match exists.

B2B database integration, physician insights from trial history and claims data, AI-driven patient-to-trial matching and enrollment forecasting, and real-time site recruitment tracking.
